June 5 (Reuters) – Amazon (AMZN.O) announced the launch of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Asia Pacific (Taipei) Region on Thursday, along with plans to invest more than $5 billion to support the construction, connection, operation, and maintenance of its data centers in Taiwan.
